New Trimester for Adventure Ed! |

Adventure Ed is transitioning to a new trimester this week, with
several new program developments in progress. The program will continue
with the Homework Club, where students can snack and receive homework
assistance, and start a new Drama Club that will meet every Thursday.
The Native American Club hopes to expand its meetings, and Adventure Ed
will begin the first in a series of prevention programming events
emphasizing life skills, well-being, nutrition and other activities.
As with last trimester, students can also participate in Teen
Advocates, with Tobacco Prevention Specialist and tutor Nancy Allemand.
All
of these great new changes come with the addition last month of three
new staff members, tutors Cari Arneson and Abigail Scott, and bilingual
tutor Faye Geiger. Faye will work with bilingual students during
Homework Club, Abigail will focus her attention on working with Club
Red developing our prevention programming and Cari will work to
