Excellent Recipie for Smoothies by Rob M. (tutor) Have
you ever found yourself with too many bananas? Sometimes I can't eat
all the bananas in a bunch before they start to go brown. This is a
great way to use ripe bananas.
Peel the ripe 'nanners and break them into bite-size pieces, then
freeze them. When you are ready put them in the blender with any other
kind of fruit (peaches, strawberries, and blueberries are my
favorites). Add some yogurt or milk, a 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla, and a
pinch of sugar. If the yogurt is sweet you may not need the sugar.
Blend it until smooth, 1-2 minutes, adding just a little milk or OJ to
get things mixing in the blender. It takes longer to blend frozen
stuff. Then adjust to your taste. Too runny? Add more frozen fruit
or ice cubes. Too bland? More sugar/vanilla. Drink it right away,
it is best when fresh! My favorite joke (by student): Why couldn't the bike stand up by itself? Because it was two-tired! HAHAHA Students!
We want your jokes, photos, and stories! We are also looking for
helpful homework tips. Talk with Adventure Ed staff and we can set up
YOUR submissions on the website.
